An Actor's Journey

What does it mean to be an actor? How do actors do what they do? How do they deal with the frustrations and rejections? This is the story of my personal experiences in Los Angeles. Along the way I'll share what I've learned.

Looks Like I'm Going to Prison

Jail BaitYeah, yeah, I know some of you are thinking "Well, it's about time..." but it's not what you think. No really.

I've recently been cast in a feature film entitled A Fait Accompli. I'll play one of the leads in this story of two prisoners in a Texas jail. My character "Billy" is a white supremacist and a real S.O.B. who is at odds with his intelligent cellmate. Unknown to "Billy," the cellmate has a secret deathwish and it makes for quite a ride and story. The film is being directed by G.S. Harrell and will be submitted to the Sundance Film Festival when it's completed. We're scheduled to start production in the Summer.

Obviously I'm really excited about the project. It's a wonderful opportunity to get some great footage, do some meaty work and maybe even get a bit of PR. We shall see. I'll keep you posted.

If you don't hear from me, could somebody bake me a cake with a file in it? Please?

Congrats! I know how great it feels to get work.

I just got cast into a film destined to be submitted to Sundance as well. Not sure if it will make it, but it's nice to dream . . . :-)

Wow! Congratulations! Woo Hoo!!

I'm so happy for you and it sounds like this role will really stretch you as an actor. I love roles like that. I hope you have fun with it.
